Another big, black guy who made his living beating the crap out of people, except in MMA, has died. Kimbo Slice had an apparent heat attack. He was 42.

Mihaly "Michu" Meszaros, probably best known as a performer in the Barnum and Bailey Circus has died. However, and there's always a however, you probably better know a character by the name of ALF, that he "brought to life" (he was 2'9" tall). RIP you cat eatin' fuzzball.

Janet Waldo, voice actress. Judy Jetson, Josie and Pussycats, Penelope Pitstop.

She was 96, probably the last voice actor of that 60s-70s era.

^^^ I partied with June Foray.

Or to put it more accurately, I attended a party at which June Foray was also present.

Hey there goes Alex. He's loaded with money. Wow he's really set himself up great.

June's still kicking at 98. Wow. If there's a tontine for classic cartoon voice actors, I bet she got it.

I misread her wiki page. I thought she was dead. Hey, someone's not dead in the obituary thread. Good times.

And right as Penelope Pitstop gets her new sexy Mad-Max-esque reboot courtsey of DC Comics.

What a shame. A bright career snuffed out by a freak accident.

‘Star Trek’ Actor Anton Yelchin Dies at 27

Anton Yelchin, known for roles in “Star Trek” and “Alpha Dog,” died early Sunday morning in a freak accident, a spokeswoman confirmed to Variety. He was 27.

“Actor Anton Yelchin was killed in a fatal traffic collision early this morning,” said a statement from his representative. “His family requests you respect their privacy at this time.”

The LAPD said he was pinned by his own car at his Studio City home. Friends apparently became concerned when Yelchin did not show up for a band performance. They found him at his home pinned between his car and a brick mailbox pillar.

“It appears he had exited his car and was behind it when the vehicle rolled down a steep driveway,” the LAPD said in a statement.

Police reportedly told TMZ that the engine was still running when he was found, and that his car was in neutral. It’s not clear why he got out of his car with the engine running.

His most prominent role was as Pavel Chekhov, the Russian ensign in the rebooted “Star Trek” film series. The most recent film in the franchise, “Star Trek Beyond,” debuts on July 22.

Hey there goes Alex. He's loaded with money. Wow he's really set himself up great.

Probably means nothing in Seppoland, but she was a great talent.

She used to portray a 70 something chat show host called Mrs Merton. She once asked alcoholic ex Soccerball player George Best "If you hadn't spent so much time running round a Soccerball pitch, would you have been as thirsty?"

Gary Marshall, creator of Happy Days and involved with many other things, has died. Maybe Leather Tuscadero will play at his funeral.

It sucks that this wasn't commemorated here, but Tim Lahaye left this planet for nowhere else on July 25.  I rarely celebrate anyone's passing, but along with this guy's dead colleagues, I do a little dance when they die.  He was one of the biggest peddlers of crazy, helped start the Moral Majority and a host of other terrible things.

Bye Tim.  Good riddance to you...
