I looked them up as i find them very interesting.   I found this fact

"Polydactyl cats often found their way onto boats because sailors believed they were good luck. They were widely recognized as top-notch mousers, and their extra toes were rumored to give them better balance while sailing the high seas."

Anyways   Old Rush Fan..she is very beautiful. ! Looks like she probably gets all your attention~!

Thanks for sharing.

I'd like them more if my wife and I weren't allergic. Beautiful animals though. :)

I'm allergic to cats too. :(

But poodles are hypoallergenic, so they are welcome here! Especially this one!

Sophie is a very pretty cat.

I used to have a ginger tom with six toes per paw.  He never purred.  Not once.

I've known folks who own Polydactyls, and they weren't 'talky' either....I don't know WHY she's that way, but I LIKE IT!  It's having someone to talk to....cat-hug-smiley.gif

I don't know, but it's been said: You do or don't and then you're dead
So climb away, get higher, son- never straight, just move ahead
Know, my child, that there is no devil seekin' to cause guilt in the hearts to men.
No evil, save blind faith, ignorance, and the desire for the unprepared to blame others for the devastation left in the wake of change.
Fear not the movement of the heavens above or the earth below for change is what we are, my child.
And if we are reflections of the divine we must roll with these changes, for we are these changes.

Another one I took today, an Empidonax flycatcher. This is either an Alder or a Least. Cano only really tell them apart by voice - both were singing, but this particular individual... I'm not sure which it was.
