Pearl jam kind of lost me with No Code and Riot Act. Other than those two albums I have loved everything else. They are one of only a few bands I have always wanted to see live but never had the chance.

They are the only band I have seen more than Rush

No song better exemplifies the Yield tour than Brain Of J:

Going back through the years, I think this may have been their best tour.

5 years ago tonight.  Probably the best version of this song I have ever witnessed.  Take it away Mikey!

When people hear the name of the band I am in, Deep Release, they assume it's origins are from the smut gutter...

...a few Pearl Jam fans know better.

I was fortunate to catch the second-to-last show - ever - at Philadelphia's Spectrum in 2009, where they blew the roof off.

Yes, I know exactly where your name comes from :)

I was at the last 2 shows at the Spectrum...10/30 and 10/31

Wow, pretty awesome.  Ranks with Yyz in Rio for best crowd performance.

It was a moment that was very hard to capture in a video.  Usually the crowd sings along to the initial chorus/lines, but then something happened right before Eddie sang "oh oh ohhhhhh".  The crowd just took over and started going crazy.  It caught everyone in the band by surprise.  People were yelling, banging on the seats, and just going nuts.  At one point Eddie approached the mic to sing, but then had to back away.  He looked back at Matt and Matt just shrugged his shoulders as if to say "I have no idea what is going on?!"  Finally after about a deafening minute, Eddie was able to resume the song.

The official bootleg sorta captures the moment, but you miss the visual aspect obviously.

On the 10th anniversary of quite possibly the best concert I have ever seen, by any band, ever...
