I was a pretty big fan of Pearl Jam in the early-mid 90's. I kind of got turned off when they did that horrendous remake of "Last Kiss" and fully stopped listening to them after Binaural.

Earlier this week I watched the PJ20 documentary on Netflix and enjoyed it a lot. So I went back and started going back throough their catalog on Spotify and I'm really enjoying the last few albums.

Glad that I re-found them.

I liked Eddie's  version of "Big, Hard Sun"

The last album, Backspacer, was one of their best IMO.  Great album.  The run of Binaural, Riot Act, and the self titled Avocado album didn't thrill me, but I've stuck with them.  One of my top 10 bands.

I find them to be solid. I like something about every album. They don't all have an "Evenflow" level catchy track, but I like that they're all fairly distinctive. Some bands I couldn't be bothered to listen to more than an album or two, because they all sound the same.

I recommend looking into their live catalog. The official bootlegs. PJ is an awesome live band, the songs take on a new dimension live.

Their first album blew me away as did Dirt by Alice In Chains. However, by the third album, they stated to lose me. I still pull out that first album on occasion. Great stuff

PJ is my 'other' Rush.  If anyone wants some bootleg stuff, just drop me a PM.   I have tons of stuff to share.

I thought their "Avocado" album was pretty fantastic.  Never got around to Backspacer.
