Come on then, who've you see - and show us!!!

I went out to see Norway's finest Kvelertak last thursday. One of them was sporting a Rush T-shirt. :)

First support act was Norway's even finer the Godlike El Doom and his born Electric.

El's a Rush fan.

Just before the old CP went tits up, I'd been out to see Orange Goblin. They like Rock dudes.

Support was from the magnificent Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell. Not too shabby for a long dead dude.

Heaven 17????

Really early Human League was the best.

Was it at the Opera House James? That's a lovely venue.

Yes it was. Only about 2/3 full sadly but they performed in a wonderful spirit, lots of laughs with the audience and self-deprecation. They really belted out the old tunes and bloody hell that woman who sings with them now can hit the high notes in Temptation.

Haven't been to a concert since Rush last November. :(

(Ahem...I know Rush has songs in 4/4, but I did not make this meme. I just think it's funny. So please stop pointing this out to me! Thanks.)

I saw everyone's favourite Englishster last Friday when I enjoyed almost all of Morrissey's concert. The preaching and disgusting videos played when he performed Meat Is Murder were unnecessary and uncalled for. I paid money to here him sing not rail at me about eating meat. I'm already well aware of his stance on that.

They said I could be anything, so I became a disappointment.

I haven't seen fucking anything in ages.

Speaking of Sheffield, I'm going to see "Deaf Leper" in vegas with my brother for some nostalgia-bro-drinking-good times.  But that kinda doesn't count.

Have to admit the current musical landscape is troublesome--I almost saw Yes last week, but the word is that it's not even worth 20 bucks, much less 100.  Depressing.

Black Crowes looks promising, so I think I'll go out to that.  And Living Color are coming to LA to play Vivid in its entirety.  That's cool and everything, but it's just more nostalgia.  I'm getting burned out on that concert gimmick.

Not much lately but I do have tickets for Steven Wilson in April and Tomahawk in June, both at the Nokia Theater in Times Square.

Last one for me was Esperanza Spalding about six months ago.

Am off to a three-day jazz festival with the Mrs in July.

And the report is Feck, Feck, Feck, Feckity ARSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Show cancelled due to illness. I'm a bit peeved. This would have been gig of the year for me - probably - It would certainly be better than Rush.
