I think they would do best making a sort of all-star band. It’s probably just Alex and Geddy with different drummers and singers. New interpretations of old material and a few new songs. Like Page and Plant did. Big shows in just a few cities.

This would be fun but it seems that Ged feels that three's company.

Do what Queen did. Bring in another singer and drummer.

I thought of this too but Ged really likes to sing. To bring in another drummer, now that lines up.

"...But would you see one of us or two of us or three of us? That's possible." -Geddy Lee

Queen brought in another singer and BASS PLAYER, or did Roger just quit?

They could do that but then it wouldn't be Rush. No disrespect at all towards the other members of Queen but it ain't Queen without Freddie.

Honestly they should tour My Favorite Victor without Grumpy and play some Rush deep cuts.

Then just replace the garbage drummer. It'll still be Rush.

Hey...where's Perry?

I've heard Neil called many things but garbage was not one of them. Harsh

Yeah, it’s not an exact analogy, I meant they could sub two players in.

Roger is the drummer. And a damn better drummer than Peart I might add.

John Deacon did indeed quit shortly after Freddie died.

Hey, Foreigner is going strong with only 1 original member.  They've even played a show without him when he was sick.

Certainly got more groove.

Liking Pearl is like appreciating a very well made F1 engine.

That frowns at us as we admire it.

They could trigger samples of Neil playing

Right! Other than guitar, bass and acoustic drums, everything else has been samples since 1990. RUSH has been one BIG sample since!

They've sampled guitar plenty of times as well. The hemispheres chord in Far Cry is sampled. As is the last note of the Stick it Out riff. Those are just two off the top of my head.

And the second guitar part on Big Money live.

Like Zappa's Jazz from Hell? Nah, more like G Spot Tornado.

"Can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing, I ain't pretty, and my legs are thin.

But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to."

"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
