Same. Easily the best of the final 4 studio albums they put out. CA is almost great.

I still can't believe how they fucked this brilliant album up - and how the remix that fixes most things was done without listening to the original - and hence neutured Peaceable Kingdom.... ugh there is no god

Actually I do quite like about half of it. Nice to feel real emotion on a Rush album. Freeze is my favourite - I know that feeling well - being too scared to advance yet too stubborn to retreat.

Secret Touch I like. The bass double-stops, and the mad bit in the middle, like a Red Barchetta on fire with the throttle stuck open, those bass stabs as though the shocks and springs are giving way on rough ground. It’s about 90 seconds too long though, and it loses tautness.

I like Vapor Trail too, when I can bear the anguished lyrics and that that descending Lerxt arpeggio, orgiastic and yet so very sad.

Nice verbal description of the deliciousness of Secret Touch.

The bass in the intro to Freeze, in the chorus of Peaceable Kingdom, in the bridge of Earthshine... lots of great work by Geddy on that album.

The whole record is unmitigated drivel, and there is no possible production job that would conceal that state of affairs. Consequently I have not the slightest problem whatever with the way it was recorded, engineered, produced or mastered. Why polish a steaming pile of festering dingo's kidneys that no-one with a shred of good taste or dignity would want to listen to?

Oh nos!  I've been accused by the British gentleman of having no dignity.

That's how it is - how it's going to be.  Such a cloudy day.
