Seriously, I’m glad that ridiculous embellishment by the Brazilian player near the goal was overturned on video review. Unfortunately for Costa Rica, all for naught.

Onward...GO ICELAND !![/size]

Yeah, Neymar should have been off for that.

As things stand, the Serbs and the Croats are both through to the last 16. Have to wonder how far a Yugoslav national side could have progressed.

Belgium vs Tunisia is next up. I expect the sprouts to do better against Tunisia than we did. A game that has consequences for England's place in the same group, of course.

Certainly wasn't expecting the Tunisians to pull one back so quickly, if at all. Interesting that the Belgians are being quite wasteful of their chances.

But my mind is already on Sweden vs Germany, at 7pm BST. Huge for both sides.

Another class strike from the Manchester United man. Floated over the keeper beautifully. That's four goals for him so far in this tournament.

Yes, this match could easily be 5-1 at this point

Mexico currently beating the S Koreans, a state of affairs which would see the latter out of contention for the knockout stages if it finishes like that.

Good news, because it means the Germans are definitely out if the Swedes beat them tonight. The Abba fans and tequila drinkers would take the first two places in the group.

1-1 and about 10 mins to go in the Germany / Sweden game. The Swedes will be happy enough with a draw, I think. The Germans will be rather unhappy with one. But I half expect them to nick one at the death.

Good call.
Kroos was the best player on the pitch so in some way the win was deserved. I thought Boeteng’s sending off was harsh, but hilarious.
They’re definitely through now with the easy final game but I cannot see them going far as they lack something. If they were playing a better team than Sweden tonight they would have got buried.
