Ima or Imma - short for "I am going to"

Like James, I am okay with and personally use ASAP. I think I hear it much more often than as soon as possible.

I am also guilty of using OMG, though I also use various versions of Oh my god.

Yeah that whole "Imma" thing needs to die.

I would much rather see this.

labente deinde paulatim disciplina velut desidentes primo mores sequatur animo, deinde ut magis magisque lapsi sint, tum ire coeperint praecipites, donec ad haec tempora quibus nec vitia nostra nec remedia pati possumus perventum est.

First our declining morals slid, bit by bit, and then our very national spirit.  Then the collapse became greater and greater, and our principles began to go, until at last, it has come to this age, in which we can bear neither our crimes nor the cure for them.

I'm guessing he means there are too many anorexic and orthorexic women in the world.  So the word may be annoying, but the healthier body type it describes is a positive development.

Ah. I don't mean seeing someone who would be described as "thicc," I mean that non word as a descriptor vs the actual word thick. Actually, there are already better words such as curvy. See also:  zaftig, voluptuous and stacked.

"...I want 'em real, thick and juicy..."

Name that tune.

They said I could be anything, so I became a disappointment.

I hate the way these days college students, academics, experts and pundits answer every effing question by some cable TV news host beginning with "So..." To me, it sounds like the person is saying everything that's about to fly out of my blowhole right now is unassailably correct.

That’s a “see also” I’m perfectly willing to look into.
