Honestly, I don't really care too much on who is inducted now. Few thoughts on those who did get in.
Bon Jovi. Whatever.
The Cars. Any band that can play straight up blues with a funky keyboard on top and convince people they are New Wave, nice job.
Dire Straits. Well deserved. Always had an appreciation for Mark Knopfler's playing. Especially liked the stuff they did prior to Brothers in Arms.
The Moody Blues. About time. Stupid not to have them there a long time ago. Wish Ray Thomas were still alive to see this.
Nina Simone and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Never heard of either. Get the impression that they are the token "non-rock and roll" acts that they seem to have every year.
Little disappointed that Kate Bush did not get much support, considering that voice and the complexity of the songs she wrote.
