I liked Neil when he played drums with croquet mallets.

I'll stick with the guy that played drums on PeW and 2112 and VT, thanks. He is not the same guy that is on T4E.

Not that I listen to any Rush anymore.

Hm well the guy that plays on T4E seems a lot more capable, I must say.

Not very good.

Shame YouTube has taken that one down. I was at a gig on that tour a few days earlier.

Not very good.

Sounds like he was trying to be Keith Moon there. There's only one Keith Moon. Either that or he's whacked out of his mind on drugs. Also, the drum mix doesn't seem quite right. But Geddy and Al are killin' it. Vocal-wise, this is #peakgeddy.

He sounds odd. Wasn't this the concert that he claimed he had a cold and his voice sounded weird (well, weirder than normal ;) )

Maybe he's not as strong because of the cold but I just generally like Geddy's voice from this period.

The Hammersmith Closer to the Heart is also a bit unsteady it seems. Probably why it didn't make it onto Different Stages like Lakeside.

I liked Geddy's voice when he could still belt out the old songs the way they were meant to be sung and not have to alter them. :(
