I've been resisting creating this thread for awhile now for the simple reason that it could turn into a major time sinkhole. But here goes...

Post anything you find funny or interesting.

Hey there goes Alex. He's loaded with money. Wow he's really set himself up great.

Dennis DeYoung hired himself a bunch of ace musicians for a show of Styx songs for what I believe was a one-off for a dvd. It works really well. The recording and performance are obviously very controlled but who cares? It's a good document of what the songs sounded like on the albums. This is from 2014. DeYoung is around 67 at this point and in very good voice.

probably no coincidence the extras look like Shaw and JY, either.

Not a one-off. He's touring with these guys. Saw him earlier this year, good show.

They're like a really over-achieving tribute band.

No one could have played Dwight as well as Rainn Wilson but others did read for the role.

Yeah, hard to imagine anyone else in any of the roles. Bob Odenkirk as Michael would have been intriguing, though Steve Carell was incredible

labente deinde paulatim disciplina velut desidentes primo mores sequatur animo, deinde ut magis magisque lapsi sint, tum ire coeperint praecipites, donec ad haec tempora quibus nec vitia nostra nec remedia pati possumus perventum est.

First our declining morals slid, bit by bit, and then our very national spirit.  Then the collapse became greater and greater, and our principles began to go, until at last, it has come to this age, in which we can bear neither our crimes nor the cure for them.

On Michael's arch nemesis and killjoy Toby's return to Dunder Mifflin.

And yes, you can buy Dunder Mifflin paper at Amazon.
