Hallo Rob!

Hope you are well.

Recalling how you are not the biggest fan of Thom Yorke's voice, I wanted to share the following revelation with you.

This little lass makes Radiohead even better.

Interesting, and great seeing you post again. No idea who that is, but she, or more likely her dad, brother, or husband is pretty involved in his stereo. If you watch other videos with her, you can see the amp(s) on the floor hooked to those big, likely electrostatic speakers.

They said I could be anything, so I became a disappointment.

She's really good. Looked through her video list and listened to a few. Especially like the "Ghost in You" cover. Retains the spirit of the original but offers its own unique and affecting arrangement.

Hurrah for the return of WH!

Yes, that is better than Radiohead due to the absence of Thom Yorke.

Welcome back WH!

Yeah, Thom Yorke is talented, no doubt.  Like Dylan, sometimes his stuff sounds better through a less distinctive singer (I'm being kind here, lol)

The same could be (and was) said about Gary Weinrib.

I'm still of the opinion that Rush succeeded despite Ged's voice rather than because of it.

Who would have been better as Rush's singer? Adele? Davy Jones?

Any number of male or female hard rock vocalists.

Really? I've heard numerous laudable attempts by various bands, famous and not famous, to cover Rush and with perhaps only the exception of Rocky Kuner, the vocals have always come up short. That's because Geddy's idiosyncratic vocal tone is an inextricable component of the Rush sound and, yes, I'd say of their success, as well.
