I can't imagine a member of Rush being married to a pentecostal pastor.

Depends on how much money she was making. If she's the preacher at a "mega church" she's probably doing pretty well in the finance department. Because, as we know, God blesses those that do His work, even if His work is convincing old folks to send money so that they too will be blessed by God.

They said I could be anything, so I became a disappointment.

I guess Jon Caine had a bit of an overnight conversion. But it's not like Schon is coming across any less insane.

keyboard player Jonathan Cain has stated publicly that he brings Jesus onto the stage with him at Journey shows

It's Jesus, after all, who levitates his keyboard.

Schon seems like a hothead. Has had issues with Rush too.

Pineda seemed to take the hint. “Just so you know,” the singer wrote in a hashtag-filled post, “I have no problem being an #expendable #entity. Nothing’s #permanent in this world. Constant change’s our #bestfriend.”

A Rush trope. Probably enraged Schon even more.  ^_^

What was his deal with Rush again? That Lifeson steals his licks or something?

Something like that. I don't know if he accused Al specifically though.

He actually does kind of slam Alex at the 4:35 mark in this interview (not to mention Gibson). You'll need to listen to the prior few minutes to understand the nature of the slam though.

^^^ Yep that's the one. "Nickel and Dime" is actually a pretty cool tune.

Its too bad Schon is such a douche because he's a really good guitarist...I like a lot of old Journey quite a bit.

But yes, what a clusterfuck. What is with airing dirty laundry publicly?

We've been lucky that Rush is composed of three friends. How many other bands fall apart after just a few years because the members can't get along?

Schon is a whackadoodle, let's not forget his siutation that went on with his now current wife.  Remember she was one of the "white house crashers".  He stole her from that guy and had her in hiding, on tour for like a year.  She was declared "missing" at many times.  Kind of odd.  Cain, I think has to just not mix music with supporting his wife and politics/religion.  I think he is, but he's got to watch the photo ops.  Greg Rollie is available, but let's remember that Cain wrote all of the big hits from the Escape album.  He came to Journey with those songs and Steve Perry put some lyrics to those.  Still part of me wants to see a full Journey reunion with Rollie and Perry.  Old school.

As for Rush behaving like this, they are way too conservative and too Canadian to do something like this.  They would handle this privately.
