Pop songs okay too. The note can be either vocal or instrumental. In the case of an instrumental note, it can be hit repeatedly as long as it remains unbroken.

Pete Gabriel - That Voice Again

Vocal note starts at 3:49 and lasts about 10 seconds.

So how many of these are there?

Hey there goes Alex. He's loaded with money. Wow he's really set himself up great.

Keeping it topical to CP, I always liked this opening to Limelight....move ahead to about 2:40

(Hard not to smile stupidly when you think back on how many times you heard that live and loved it!)

When I asked for long notes, I didn't think I'd get one lasting into next Tuesday. lol. (And a Rebecca Black sneak attack thrown in for good measure. Is that the new Rickroll?)

Here's a famous long synth note. Played during the instrumental sections, it clocks in at 9 seconds.

Babs's ending note in Evergreen from the scene in A Star is Born lasts about 20 seconds. It might have been artificially lengthened or re-recorded for the movie though because the album version lasts in the area of 14 seconds.

Begins at 2:36.

The transition from Foreplay to Long Time is a good while.  Depending on how much of a stickler you are, it's about 10 seconds...
