A pulsating boxing match in London last night - the young Englishman versus the wily old Ukrainian. Joshua was put down in the sixth round - the first time in his 19 fight career - and I thought his legs had gone. He was losing on points throughout but somehow mananaged to keep going - the mark of a champion. He looked out of gas in the seventh but got stronger before the referee stopped it in the eleventh after Klitschko went down twice.

Klitschko was the more clever boxer and prevented the stronger Englishman from closing for most of the fight, but in the end I think his 41 years caught up a bit.

A classic heavyweight bout. Joshua is the real deal!

What, back when there was an American in the final?
