...as if he had much left.

I've always laughed at Bill Nye masquerading as a science educator. He's nothing more than an ideologue pushing a certain narrative while wearing a lab coat. Here's his latest bit of nonsense. Laughably hilarious on several levels.

He's a media figure and I believe a former engineer.  He's brought science and STEM to our youth and for that he is to be commended.  The mixture of science and politics can be an abomination.  When you promote scientific theory and make them easier to understand, you are doing a service.  When you just cherry pick to promote a political slant, you fail.  Science fails often at communications and I don't think Bill Nye is any different in that regard.

Except that he isn't wearing a lab coat.

If promoting bad rap is his only fault, I can forgive him.

Bill Nye groove-bopping to a terrifically inept performance of SJW rap. My world is complete.

Why not keep posting other nonsense that Nye has done?  I'd love to see more...!

If he isn't outed as a paedo one day I'll be shocked. Physiognomy is real.

Watch the whole 13 episodes of his new series on Netflix. Apparently a lot of scientists are in shock. Shark has been jumped.

I think he does a pretty decent job of touting science, he doesn't proclaim that he's an expert, just states a pro-science POV, which happens to coincide with ACG consensus and other science-based POV. Of course he's disliked by many in the "low information" camp...

Did you watch any of the videos eddie? It's hard to get anymore anti-science than that. Low information crowd indeed!

^^^ There's a point in there somewhere, I suppose, but Nye is rightly held to a higher standard than some dummy TV personality.

Don't get me wrong, I think his new show is dumb. I only watched one episode and it was terrible TV.

That does not, however, negate Nye's credibility as a science educator. His credibility as a comedy show host, absolutely.

(and for the record I like Rowe too and while he leans a little further right than I do I often agree with him).

I get your point but what Nye was peddling is anti-science. "Gender Theory" is not science.  Rowe's not peddling anti-handyman stuff.

What sticks in my craw is how he ties Islamic terrorism to climate change. If drought causes religious violence I suspect we'd have seen a lot more of it down through history where and when drought has occurred.
