So how long can Geddy just enjoy retirement, collecting basses/baseball stuff/wines etc? I don't think anyone's heard a peep or it would be on here.

SPECULATION:
I don't think that it's total wishful thinking that he's going to get antsy, still has music in him. I think we're going to see something or at least word that he's got a project Spring/Summer timeframe. I think he just has to get through accepting Rush is really done and he then gets inspired to try some altogether different direction.

RANDOM EXTRA THOUGHTS:

If he needs a suggestion I'd go with doing some videos with Stewart Copeland like the latter has posted. Neil shouldn't get to have all the fun.

Actually, can you imagine instrumental prog with Lifeson/Lee/Copeland - i.e. I'm thinking more like Animal Logic fusiony but with Lifeson sort of anarchy instead of pop keys etc. Ged, it's probably a phone call away.

That instrumental trio idea sounds great.  Geddy has to be antsy considering all the basses he's been collecting and plus he's in the best shape physically.  Hard to imagine Neil was once the athlete in the band, bicycling from gig to gig.  Now he's in the worse shape of the three.  Alex plays golf, while not all that strenuous at least he's outside in the fresh air.  Maybe he stills plays tennis with Geddy.  If he can get past his arm pain (or whatever was hurting him), he's probably going to be itching to make more music as well.

He was also busy rehearsing roundabout for his performance at the RRHoF.  He is a perfectionist...

I saw him at the Jays-Brewers game on Tuesday in his usual seat.

Yes I can, and I can see that working very well. Copeland has a new project with Adrian Belew and Mark King coming out so why the fuck not?

Musicians- Remember the day when you first jammed with another group after learning the tunes they played? ...The thoughts that were going through your head? I'll bet Ged was thinking the same things.

Now maybe I will be popular and can get girls.

Oops, just missed that note, I wonder if anyone noticed.

A few more gigs like this and I will finally be able to get that guitar.

I wonder if they will be up for playing one of my tunes.

While I would love to see Alex, Geddy, and drummer to be named later (perhaps Copeland), do a prog instrumental thing I just don't see that happening. I can't see them wanting to make that type of music at this point in their careers.

About 5' 10"?

He's been shrinking for a good couple of decades...I would bet he's not 5' 10" any longer.  :D
