This is still t.b.d. but thought maybe a BARF could be assembled if there is any interest in attending the King Crimson show at The Fox, on Saturday, June 17. Tickets go on sale later this week (pre-sale on Thursday (hit me up for the pre-sale password if you are interested) and general public on Friday)... I am hoping to land some good seats and will make the trip out west if I do so. 

 

Anybody else in for the show and/or BARF festivities? All this, assuming that Casey and Julie are willing to host a shin-dig....

 

Tickets for the show are the deciding factor for me but all you Bay Area prog rock fans should think about attending this show, yo!

Pre-sale for tickets is tomorrow, general public sale on Friday, both days at 10 a.m. PST.  Do you want me to shop for you or would you like to land your own?  I'm going as big as standard ticket locations allow... that is I'm spending money to be up close without spending three times face value for a "Royal Package" ticket (like I did for Toronto)... I think tickets up close will be $125 or so, further back, $75 - $100  I can buy if you would like me to.  Otherwise, I'll let anybody who is interested land their own ticket and we'll just BARF as a crew!  Casey, I'm sending you the pre-sale password by P.M.  Use it if you like or let me know if you'd like me to buy more tickets than just mine.

DTW to OAK... flight is booked for Friday night!  Show on Saturday night at The Fox in Oakland, then return to The D- on Sunday so I can try to get to work on MOnday...  Oh, the good times of In-N-Out for a rock show!  Already fired up for this!  Wooooooo!

Low attendance for the King Crimson BARF, yet one of the most enlightening, inspiring and comfortable gatherings we've ever enjoyed.  Good friends and great times!  Rock ON!

That's for sure! It was great catching up with you, old friend. We need to do that more often! 

 

And if you have even a passing interest in Crimson, do yourself a favor and see this tour, everyone. Fripp and Company have never sounded better!
