I like that one song where they really branch out and play one funky verse followed by a melodic verse.

Shirtless too. Because that always helps.

The new guy, Josh Klinghoffer,  isn't so much of a new guy.  He's a friend of Frusciante's and has the exact same guitar sensibilities.  Vintage equipment, weird effects, more funk than hard rock style but he still can wail.  He's the perfect replacement and his songwriting seems really decent.  If you look at the band, on paper and live, I think you've got three virtuoso plus Kiedis who is good at what he does and certainly can't be replaced.  Live, they are an old school style rock concert.  They play dangerously.
