I really liked The Wasp Factory and Complicity, and as SF writer Iain M Banks he was the most imaginative I've ever read.

RIP. One of my favourite writers, this is very sad news. I saw him at several book readings and met him once, he was very personable and easy-going. He'll be missed.

Never heard of him, but if he was a SF writer I'll have to check him out....RIP  :(
