Was it the pink shirt? Was it the dancing? Was it the rolling around in bed. Funny thing is, this is a great song. Would not have been out of place on his Never Say No album. Just that godawful video. I still remember the day it first came out on MTV. I peeked through my fingers by the end. It was hard to watch.

Yea, it just seemed to be so out of line with the (mostly) rocking theme that BS had going on back then.  I hope he can laugh about it now because it wasn't well-received when it came out and here we are talking about it again.  Thirty years later...  lol

When MTV hit, the major labels sent down a memo to all '70s bands to go metro-sexual or retire. (Poor ZZ Top.) Billy thought that meant go super-gay.
