Every day I can, I will post something Phish related for your viewing and/or listening pleasure.

Today, I give you:

Down With Disease - 12/1/95

A nice intro to Phish for the uninitiated.  Short, perfectly executed jam.

Kicking around seeing them at the Hollywood Bowl.  Great, fun rock n' roll band.

(though do you think Down With Disease is very representative of them?)

I have no problem showing a DWD jam as #1.  It's a "rock" song, easy to get into, and this particular jam does not venture into waters that will lose most non-fans.  Anyone who like a good guitar jam should dig it.

I absolutely love this band. Getting up there to the level of Rush and DT with me....

I just listen to their live stuff... endlessly sometimes, especially in the summer.

The force is strong with this one.  Conversion almost complete.

Now we're talkin'!  Great track--the song that turned me on to them.

Consider it done. I can't let go of my Metal side. But I find that it can coexist with Phishhead Grep.

I'm a fan of their earlier three or four albums.  But don't listen to them much anymore.  Trey is a very good guitarist.  His solo album was meh but the Oysterhead stuff with Copeland and Claypool was a lot of fun.

his first solo album (self-titled) is phenomenal.  After that is hit or miss.  But yes, Oysterhead was a lot of fun...I caught one of the shows.

Avoided this band due to the jam-band label. Big mistake! Caught them last month in Chicago on the Saturday night when they played 3 sets.

Phenomenal show and the coolest, most laid-back crowd I have ever experienced.

Pearl Jam and Phish on back-to-back nights was a great experience.
