Since there isn't one, I guess I'll start one.

Highlight thus far: Yankees' season coming to an end so abruptly.

Is anyone watching Jays-Rangers right now? Ged's in his usual seat behind home plate, dutifully keeping score. What a geek.

So far for me, the highlight was watching the Cubs blank the Pirates last night but hearing about the Stankees exiting early was a very close second. If the Cubs can manage to beat the fucking Cardinals, it will be a successful season for me. The Cubs have some good, young talent that should only improve over the next couple of years.

They said I could be anything, so I became a disappointment.

My Twins put up a valiant fight but fell short.  Hope for the future.  But that means I'm a free agent this postseason... should I support Geddy's Jays?

Even as a Yankees fan, I was happy to see them collapse.

Perhaps in the off-season management will take a long hard look at their team building and other problems. Or not...

I'm happy for the Mets. Good luck to them.

Since my Tigers fell the eff apart and ended up in last place... (Last place?!?!? Sheesh!) And since according to "Back to the Future part II", the Cubs win the WS this year. Let's go Cubbies!!!  :D

Holy crap I totally forgot about the Back to the Future thing. That would be amazing if the Cubbies went all the way. But yeah, as long as they knock out the Cards, I'm good.

No dog in this fight for me, so I'll adopt the Royals again as I did last year.

BTW this Jays-Rangers game right now is amazing. Too bad it's buried in a shit timeslot.

One of my customers owns one of the 3 remaining DeLoreans from the movie shoot, and it totally works. I can see to it.

Hey...where's Perry?

I've always disliked the Royals over the years cuz they're in our division and always give us a hard time, even when they sucked!  But their path is very similar to the Tige's. Sucked for YEARS and finally made it to the WS and lost.  Part of me wants them to win it all this year since they were soooo close last year.
Tough choice really, who to root for.  I like Houston, cuz they've done the worse to first thing as well. Hopefully, we just get some damn good baseball!

...

Oh who am I kidding?!?!  Hockey season is starting!  Red Wings home opener vs. the Leafs & their former coach tonight!  You know what I'll be watching!!!!

:D :D :D :D

deGromination !! Jake was outstanding

Kershaw was really good, but the Mets wore him down. Horrible move by Mattingly taking Kershaw out...you've got to give one of the best pitchers in the sport a chance to get out of it. The Captain came through - Baez never had a chance.

Stranger things have happened. They tied the series today against the best team in baseball (fucking Cardinals).

So Utley flies past second base into Tejada, breaking his leg.

Within 2 seconds I say, runner interference, double play...inning over. Mets still up 2-1

Instead, tie game, Utley back on second because Tejada never touched the bag. Couple more hits, 5-2 Dodgers, series tied 1-1.

Seriously, WTF?! Atrocious, unforgivable umpiring. MLB trying to bullshit their way through this in post game. Fuckers.

I hope Utley is in the lineup game 3 so Matt Harvey can put one in his ear. I should be happy the Mets got 1 of 2 in LA, but this was total nonsense.

Reporter: Chase, what do you consider a 'dirty slide'?

Utley: when you hit the guy before you hit the ground

The Macallan: THAT'S WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DID, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!

Yeah, bad all the way around on the Tejada play. A couple of the MLB Network guys were ripping the call. It sure as hell looked like a takeout slide to me.

The more you look at the play, the more clear-cut it gets. Utley didn't even start his slide until he was on top of the bag.
