take a look at the logos on the bass cabinets....... they don't say Ampeg......

Cute. Since this was a "history of the bass" type show, I was somewhat surprised not to see him use his Steinberger on the GUP tune, or an Alembic in there somewhere. Those are some major players in bass history.

I think I saw a picture of Alex standing in front of his amps and speakers, and his said "Lerxst." Do Neil's drums have logos that say "Pratt?"

The ones you saw said Hughes and Kettner or Marshall depending on which part of the show, but he does have "Lerxt" amps that were made on his behalf and those are some of the real amps he's playing through backstage.  Below is his real rig:
