FIXED

I don't think of Visual Arts when I think of Rush.  Trust me, I know the value of Hugh Syme.  I get it.  I raised a graphic designer.  He has done an amazing job giving Rush a visual identity.  To me, it's not much.  Give me Rush and headphones.  I don't need pictures.  I barely need words.  I want to hear a proggy hard rockin band with more cowbell.

I mostly agree. A guy like Joe Satriani as an example. Fantastic player. Interesting music. But with no words, it all starts to sound the same after a while. No matter what he does.

Eric Johnson's worse.

He put out a really great album.

Five times.

First our declining morals slid, bit by bit, and then our very national spirit.  Then the collapse became greater and greater, and our principles began to go, until at last, it has come to this age, in which we can bear neither our crimes nor the cure for them.

Sounds like AC/DC but with words.

They said I could be anything, so I became a disappointment.

Didn't say he was bad.

Just that all his stuff sounds the same.

You can get away with buying Ah Via Musicam and you've pretty much heard his discography.

You'd have to get Tones too. IMHO.

Rush is indeed a band that has balls.

At least Geddy and Alex do.

Sweet Connie says so third line.

I read a lot, but I have never bought a music book.
