The Focal Banger was very fresh and delicious, decently malty with a great balance of tropical and pine.  I still like Sip Of Sunshine and Pliney more, but I liked Focal better than Heady, it was a little less malty, a little better balanced.  I also tried Harry Doesn't Mind from Singlecut last night, one of their better offerings, really tasty, very "peachy" and not particularly dank, which is a little overdone for me in some of their beers.

Contemplating a pitstop at Other Half on my way home from work tomorrow...   ;)

Harry Doesn't Mind? Did they get that from Sultans of Swing?

The millennial bartender could not understand how everyone over 35 had this perfect pronunciation of Qu'est-ce Que C'est. I told her like ten times. She still couldn't pronounce it.

They should have just named it Fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa

I picked up some really good offerings from Other Half last weekend, I got a four-each of their Superfun! Pale Ale, a wonderfully crisp summer beer, and Space Diamonds DIPA, Galaxy driven juiciness in a can!  Both really good.

I also got a four of the Crystal Waves Pilsner collaboration they did with Transmitter Brewing.  Also crisp and delicious with a nice mix of Old and New World hops.  Very nice to see them do something really tasty outside of their comfort zone!

Probably the best out of Vermont, possibly the whole US.  Great one!

Focal might win VT, but I think Captain's Daughter is better overall.

I like Captain's Daughter quite well.  I've had it fresher than Focal Banger and liked it about the same.  I still think Treehouse Julius is the best beer there is.
