And Peter Frampton covers Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden (yep).

Cover of Bon Jovi's song "It's My Life".

That's Napoleon Dynamite on guitar, right? And Kip on vocals? At least it's better than BJ's version.

Hey there goes Alex. He's loaded with money. Wow he's really set himself up great.

Still one of my favorite covers of any song by any band.  Great energy.

Agreed.

Hell ya, me three.  I remember when I first heard it thinking "THAT's how they [Genesis] really wanted to perform it (but couldn't because of the lame '80s)"...

Oh yeah!

I posted this in the cover thread on the old board, but it still merits a repeat.  Manfred Mann's Earth Band covering Springsteen's Blinded by the Light (and doing a much better job than the original):

Edit:  Damn... now I gotta learn how to embed again?

Oddly enough, I always associated that song with Manfred Mann.

I always knew, ever since QR released their version.

BTW, I have Slade's Keep Your Hands Off My Power Supply album (vinyl).  Run Runaway and My Oh My are pretty damn good.

I heard this on the radio today.  Didn't realize that Aerosmith did this cover.
