Video of The Watchmaker filmed in Germany last month.

From that I'd surmise that a DVD is going to be released. :)

Fantastico!

Did you see this:

I thought all the cassette material had eventually been released on CD in early limited releases.  I wonder if this is a reissue of Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape?

PT on indefinite hiatus. http://www.progrockm...ilson-confirms/

Not really news though.

And then there is this from SW's Facebook page.

A message to US / Canadian fans coming along to one of the forthcoming SW band shows; please be aware that due to a very important family matter, and having done a fantastic job with us at the first 2 shows in Tampa and Atlanta, new drummer Chad Wackerman has had to leave the tour to fly home to California. Fortunately, Marco is able to rejoin us for these shows, starting with Philly tomorrow, following which Chad will be rejoin the band in South America next month. Sorry for the confusion!

Sad to hear about Chad's family situation.

I've been putting off getting tickets for SW at Club Nokia because the fees are almost as much as the tickets. Then I remembered I'll be down there tonight for the RnRHoF and I can just pick up my ticket then. Giggedy!!

Funny how I posted this right about the same time they announced he wasn't playing the next run of gigs.  Kinda wanted to see Marco more anyway ;)

Makes me wonder why Marco didn't just stick with the tour in the first place...

He was already committed to touring with Joe Satriani.

No PT for a while, eh?

Too bad.  That was his best stuff.

I thought Marco was so good, I'm seriously considering going to a Satriani gig in June to see him again :o

I still think Dream Theater made a serious mistake not picking this guy up to replace Portnoy.

I'll be surprised if we ever see anything more with that lineup. Indeed it was his best stuff.

They said I could be anything, so I became a disappointment.

I think his new album is as good if not better than anything else he's done.

I like it a lot, but nothing has topped In Absentia for me yet.  It's a perfect album IMO.

His latest album is fantastic but there are at least four PT albums I prefer; Up The Downstair(2004 version), Stupid Dream, Lightbulb Sun and In Absentia.
