Gay farts, as well as a desperate call for attention for both failing shows.  The first 7 or so season of the Simpsons has some of the best comedy writing of all time - after that, hit or miss.  Family Guy is the laziest written successful show of all time.  It is funny, but it's the burger and fries of comedy writing - and extremely overrated.

I got Simpson fatigue over the years - too many episodes.  I like Family Guy, but unlike other cartoons, there`s no 'replay' value.

I saw a recent Simpsons episode (first time I watched the show in a decade)—it was the Lego episode, with 3D rendering of all the characters as Legos.  Brilliant.

I prefer Bob's Burgers these days. The Archer crossover was hilarious.

I think The Simpsons shark-jumped by about 1998 and Family Guy shark-jumped last season.  I loved both shows up until them, especially the latter.  The Cleveland Show is ace too.

Dunno what Seth needs his cartoons for, now he's a big Hollywood writer and actor.

Hehe, Not so fast. A Million Ways to Die in the West quickly died at the box office and was a critical flop to boot. Of course he could rebound with Ted 2 which is on the way. The first one made over half a billion.

Hey there goes Alex. He's loaded with money. Wow he's really set himself up great.

Simpsons + more non sequiturs could be fun.
