I was introduced to Agile guitars about two years ago and have yearned for one ever since.  Last week I finally pulled the trigger and bought one of their Les Paul style electrics.  I haven't spent too much time with it yet but out of the box it looks gorgeous.

Love the inlays - Abalone? I like the shape of the cutaway as well, stops it from being a straight LP copy while retaining the vibe.

I've only had it for a day but am finding some great tones from this beauty.  The bridge p/u is a little on the "mild" side but the neck p/u has a very full, robust character.  When using a distortion pedal or Tube Screamer this thing roars.

The guitar cost $399 and with a hard shell case the total was $456.

Wow, that's a steal.  I paid $500 for my Gibson LP and it's probably no better/worse than that, certainly doesn't look any better.  lol

Revisiting this thread after nearly three years...I love my Agile guitar more than ever and primarily that's due to getting a proper set-up done.  When I received the guitar it played well with good string height and stayed nicely in tune but there was always an issue with the volume difference between the pick-ups.  My son suggested a set-up and that made this excellent guitar even better and the volume issues are solved.

Neither do original Les Paul pickups.  The character comes from it being underpowered.  For me, it's always been, Les Paul-->Electroharmonix LPB-1 Cranked-->British Amp.  For my Strats I use a Tube Screamer in there as well.

Funny that I bought my first Agile in July 2014 and my latest on July 1st. These really are nice guitars and so much more affordable than a Gibson Les Paul
