The old man from Pawn Stars died today.  He was 77.  I swear, by looking at him and listening to him, you'd think he was twice that age.

Harlan Ellison, who wrote The City On The Edge Of Forever and was at one time part of the new wave of science fiction writers, is dead at 84.  I don't think I ever read one of his novels, but as a huge Asimov fan, I know that Asimov considered him one of the best writers in the genre.

I consider City On The Edge of Forever to be the best Trek episode, hands down.  The TNG episode Inner Light is a strong second, IMHO.
