John Dunsworth, better known as Jim Lahey has drank his last bottle whiskey. RIP, you drunk bastard.

They said I could be anything, so I became a disappointment.

Gord Downie, dead at 53. A tragically hipless loss.

He was the series' biggest scene stealer. TPB would not have been TPB without him.

Over the pond, you may not have had the show, Magnum P.I., but it was cool.

John Hillerman, the actor who made a career out of playing snooty types, including Tom Selleck’s fastidious estate caretaker Jonathan Quayle Higgins III on Magnum, P.I., died Thursday. He was 84.

Probably safe to say he doesn't care at all.  Sad, really.  The statement was a little confusing though.  After a long period of sobriety and then he died?  Seems a bit ambiguous...curious if more details will surface as time goes by.

There was actually a singer or 2 before him, most notably Courtney Love.

However FNM, as we know it, started with Chuck on vox.

Surprise! You're Dead third line.

I didn't know the Young brothers had another famous brother named George. He passed away at 70 in October. Co-founder of the Easybeats.

Mentioned in post 686 above :)

Brother Alexander Young - aka George Alexander - died in 1997, he was in a band called Grapefruit who were bigged up Paul McCartney. Nephew Stevie Young once hit me on the head - accidentally - with a guitar when I saw him playing in a band called Starfighters.

Anyhoo, RIP Malcolm, can't believe it's 38 years since I first saw AccaDacca,,,
